The Mobile Pallet Racking System (MPR) is an innovative storage solution that combines the full pallet accessibility of Selective Pallet Racking (SPR) with the space efficiency of Drive-in Racking. Unlike the static SPR, MPR features racks mounted on mobile carriages that move laterally along rails to create aisles only when needed. This dynamic movement allows for double the storage capacity by eliminating the need for fixed aisles, which typically take up significant floor space.

The system operates with shelves similar to SPR but reinforced for greater stability during movement. The racks move via manual switches or remote control, ensuring flexibility and efficiency. Built-in safety features, such as emergency stops, proximity sensors, and safety barriers, make it safe and easy to use. One of the system’s key advantages is its ability to provide 100% accessibility to each pallet, enabling fast retrieval without disturbing the rest of the stored items.

MPR operates on the First In First Out (FIFO) inventory system, making it perfect for storing heterogeneous goods. Its space-saving nature makes it ideal for high-value storage areas like cold storage facilities, where maximizing space is essential while still offering complete stock selectivity.
